The IDF announced that over the past 24 hours, together with the ISA, it carried out a series of strikes in northern Gaza, Gaza City, and Khan Yunis following what it described as a breach of the ceasefire on Saturday. According to the army, several armed terrorists emerged from underground infrastructure and positioned themselves under rubble east of the Yellow Line, near IDF troops. The military said those targeted had been working to rebuild the operational capabilities of terror groups in Gaza and were planning attacks against Israeli forces and the State of Israel.

Among those killed was Ahmad Bayouk, whom the IDF says infiltrated the Reim base during the October 7 massacre. In separate strikes earlier in the week, following additional ceasefire violations, the IDF said it eliminated Azem Abu Huli, identified as the head of Islamic Jihad's Nukhba array in the Central Camps sector. The army said Abu Huli oversaw weapons procurement, directed attacks against IDF troops, commanded Nukhba operatives involved in the October 7 assault, and supervised training exercises, including preparations for the abduction of soldiers.

The IDF stated it treats any ceasefire violation with utmost seriousness and will continue acting against efforts by terror organizations in Gaza to renew attacks. Separately, a short time ago, the army said it struck Palestinian Islamic Jihad operatives in the Majdal Anjar area in Lebanon.
