U.S. and Iranian officials will meet in Geneva on Tuesday for indirect talks hosted by Oman

By Bernie,

U.S. and Iranian officials will meet in Geneva on Tuesday for indirect talks hosted by Oman, Iranian parliamentary officials confirmed. European countries have been excluded from the negotiations for being "unreliable and lacking the necessary authority," according to Iranian officials.

A spokesperson for Iran's National Security Committee said the Geneva negotiations will not discuss stopping or abandoning uranium enrichment. Iran's Deputy Foreign Minister said discussions will include oil and gas issues, mineral investments, aircraft purchases, and the release of Iran's frozen assets abroad.

The chief of the Iranian Army's General Staff warned that if Trump "enters into a confrontation, he will find himself in a battle that will serve as a lesson for him."
