President Trump confirmed the United States is sending a second aircraft carrier to the Middle East, sharing a Wall Street Journal report on the deployment shortly after his meeting with Prime Minister Netanyahu concluded.
The Pentagon has ordered the USS George H.W. Bush Carrier Strike Group to prepare for deployment, where it will join the USS Abraham Lincoln already operating in the region. Iranian state media said Tehran will consider the deployment a "clear step towards war."
