An official from Al-Jama'a al-Islamiyya, identified by the group as Atwi Atwi, was captured by Israeli forces in an overnight operation in southern Lebanon. The organization says he was detained in Habbariyeh, about five kilometers north of the Israeli border, and warned that it holds Israel "responsible for any harm that may befall him."
According to military sources, the arrest took place during a raid carried out by an Israeli special forces unit under the IDF's 210th "Bashan" Regional Division. The operation began late Sunday and concluded in the early morning hours.
