A senior Iranian official told the Washington Post that negotiations with the United States are not possible
By Bernie,
A senior Iranian official told the Washington Post that negotiations with the United States are not possible under current conditions. "No negotiation is possible under the current situation. Trump's conditions for negotiation are unrealistic and unnegotiable," the official said.
Gulf allies have privately warned U.S. officials that Iran's missile arsenal poses a significant threat to American bases, ships, and allied infrastructure in the region, according to two Western officials briefed on the discussions. The allies cautioned that Tehran's precision-guided ballistic and cruise missiles could overwhelm air defenses, even with the increased U.S. military presence, and urged Washington to avoid miscalculation.
The warning comes amid a massive U.S. military buildup in the Persian Gulf as the Trump administration pursues a renewed maximum pressure campaign against Iran.
