By Bernie,
The U.S. military is prepared to carry out limited strikes on Iran but is not ready for the larger-scale decisive attack sought by President Trump, with no strike expected in the near term, the Wall Street Journal reported.
U.S. officials told the Journal that limited strikes could be ordered immediately, but a major operation would require significantly stronger air defenses to protect Israel and U.S. interests in the region. Washington is deploying additional Patriot and THAAD missile defense systems across the Middle East, as Iran is expected to respond with heavy ballistic missile fire if large-scale strikes begin.
