Israeli Air Force commander Maj

By Bernie,

Israeli Air Force commander Maj. Gen. Tomer Bar said Wednesday that the IAF has completed preparations and remains "prepared, alert, and ready" amid escalating tensions with Iran. Speaking to soldiers at an Iron Dome battery on Tuesday, Bar said the air force maintains "a lethal offensive arm capable of operating deep within enemy territory," according to remarks provided by the military.

Bar said the IAF has drawn lessons from the 12-day war with Iran in June "and we are arriving stronger." He acknowledged the challenges of defending the home front, stating that while the military would "do everything to protect," it is "impossible to guarantee zero harm." The remarks follow a visit Wednesday by IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir to Nevatim Airbase, where he told F-35 pilots the military "will know how to strike powerfully in any arena."
