According to reports, emergency forces were sent to a daycare on HaMem Gimel Street in Jerusalem following a suspected hazardous materials incident.
Police and firefighters are evacuating the building and working to secure the scene, while authorities are urging the public to avoid the area and keep nearby roads clear to allow rescue operations to continue.
MDA says two infants, around four months old, were found unconscious and taken to a Jerusalem hospital as medics carried out life-saving treatment. Channel 12 reports the babies are in critical condition. Police say additional toddlers may have been affected.
