Iran has closed its airspace to nearly all flights, according to a NOTAM (Notice to Airmen) issued Wednesday at 22:15 UTC. The Tehran Flight Information Region is closed to all flights except international civil arrivals and departures with prior permission from the Iran Civil Aviation Authority. The restriction is in effect until 00:30 EST on January 15.
