IDF Spokesperson Effie Defrin released a statement moments ago that the military is closely monitoring developments and is prepared for any scenario. According to the statement, IDF Chief of Staff Herzi Halevi has been holding regular situation assessments in recent days and has instructed forces to strengthen defensive readiness across all systems, Defrin said.
"I ask the public to rely only on official IDF statements and avoid spreading rumors that could cause public concern," Defrin said. "At this stage, there is no change in civil defense policy." The IDF said it would provide updates if the situation changes.
