Amid sweeping demonstrations across Iran, US Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee is linking the fate of Tehran's regional proxies to the future of the regime itself. Writing on X, he argued that the removal of what he called 46 years of "hateful and incompetent" rule would not only allow Iran to reclaim its cultural heritage in education, art and music, but would also spell the end of Hamas, Hezbollah and the Houthis.
The comments were made as US President Donald Trump warned that the United States could intervene if Iranian authorities move to violently suppress the growing wave of protests.
