Reports from Iran indicate that over the past few hours, protests against the Ayatollah and the Islamic Republic government have notably increased. Particularly, large protests have erupted throughout Tehran, with protesters clashing with IRGC forces- who have been ordered to shoot at protestors. Notably, Iranian reports from the city of Kermanshah, in the west of the country, indicate at least two IRGC operatives were killed by protesters. An additional report from the city indicate that a number of Iranian government troops refused to fire at protestors, and were arrested. However, the Iranian government has begun internet blackouts and cut telephone services throughout major cities of the country, most notably in Tehran, in order to curb protests.
