The IDF states that a short time ago, IDF and Israel Police forces were dispatched to the Shavei Shomron Junction after reports were received of masked Israeli suspects damaging property along the nearby roadway. During the disturbance, several civilian vehicles were set on fire and a person inside one of the cars was assaulted, leaving two civilians injured and requiring medical treatment.
Three suspects were detained and transferred to police for questioning. Security forces remain active in the area as the incident is examined, and the IDF says it condemns all forms of violence and will continue working to maintain public order and safety.
