A young man was killed and three others were wounded in Jerusalem after a bus drove into protesters during violent unrest surrounding a public gathering.
Police say the disturbances erupted when a small group of protesters began disrupting public order, blocking main roads, setting trash bins on fire, vandalizing buses, throwing objects at police and Border Police officers, and assaulting journalists at the scene.
Authorities initially examined whether the driver's actions were nationalist in nature after determining he was of Arab origin, but police later said the incident is currently being treated as criminal rather than ideological.
