According to a report by Israel Hayom, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and U.S. President Donald Trump agreed in their meeting to give Hamas a limited window, estimated at around two months, to dismantle its military infrastructure. The two leaders are said to have set out concrete standards for what disarmament would entail, including the destruction of the group's tunnel network beneath the Strip.

After the talks, Trump issued a sharp warning, saying Hamas would be granted only a "very short period" to comply and that failure to disarm would bring "hell to pay."
