Houthi leader Abdul-Malik al-Houthi said in a televised statement that Israel's recognition of Somaliland constitutes an "aggressive step." He described the move as part of a broader plan extending beyond Somalia, which he claimed aims to reshape the Middle East.
Al-Houthi stated that the Houthis would support Somalia "by all possible means," adding that any Israeli presence in Somaliland would be considered a legitimate military target, which he said poses a threat to Somalia, Yemen, and regional security.
