Amid growing concern that Tehran is rebuilding and expanding its ballistic missile production, Defense Minister Israel Katz says Israel is keeping a close eye on developments in Iran.
Speaking at a pilots' graduation ceremony, Katz recalled the June 12-day conflict, which he referred to as Operation Rising Lion, saying Israel - together with the United States - "struck \[Iran\] heavily." While stressing that he could not share operational details, Katz said the defense establishment is "closely monitoring" the situation and warned that "what was before October 7 will not be again," adding that Israel will not allow any renewed "threats of annihilation against the State of Israel."
