An IDF officer from the Golani Brigade was taken to hospital with light wounds after an explosive device struck a Namer armored vehicle during activity in Rafah earlier today, according to Israeli officials.
The blast occurred amid efforts to dismantle Hamas infrastructure in the Jenina area of the city. The Prime Minister's Office later said Israel would respond "accordingly" to the attack, adding that the officer's family has been informed.
